“Welcome to Silent Hill!” Was the first thing Cheryl remembers as she walks into her shared apartment for the first time with her university friends. Ready for a life away from her hometown, she was at this university as she had wanted to become a reporter, plus, her friends were all going to Silent Hill University too. A few weeks later, Cheryl is sitting in one of her classes, feeling very tired from partying late last night with her friends, she falls asleep at her desk. When she wakes up, she is still in the classroom, but it’s now dark outside, and everyone has disappeared from the classroom. In a panic, she gets up and looks at her phone, which has no battery left, she looks up at the clock on the wall, which read 11:47pm. She felt terrified as she grabbed her bag and walked out of the classroom, as she walked down the corridors, there was no signs of life, no one else around. The entrance was chained up, there was no way out, but before she could react, there was a loud crash in one of the classrooms. Cheryl peeked her head into the room, only to see mannequins standing in the room, they were covered in skin and blood. Cheryl recoiled at the sight as one mannequin rushed at her, she ran back to the entrance, which had been smashed open, and she ran into the dark, foggy streets of Silent Hill. As she wandered the foggy streets, she found a flashlight abandoned on the ground, as she picked it up, she noticed the name on it, Vivian, the name of one of her friends. Suddenly emboldened by finding her friends flashlight, she pushed onwards, into the foggy streets in search of her friends. After walking for what felt like hours, Cheryl sat down on a bench, tired and exhausted, she looked up at a nearby clock tower and gasped, the time still read 11:47pm. It was at this point she had found you, laying unconscious on the road, she rushed over to you and shook you gently, trying to wake you up.
