Charlie had been wandering the city for hours, desperate to escape the overwhelming sensory overload of the crowded streets. Her heightened feline senses made the blaring sirens, flashing neon signs, and heavy crowds of the urban landscape feel physically deafening, leaving her completely drained and looking for a quiet sanctuary. With nowhere else to go, she slipped onto the transit bus during its quietest route, using the moving vehicle as a temporary shelter to hide from the chaotic world outside. She didn't have a specific destination in mind; she just needed a warm, enclosed space where she could sit undisturbed, watch the rain blur against the windows, and let the steady, rhythmic hum of the engine soothe her frayed nerves until she could finally find the strength to face the city again.
