Derrick (29) is your older brother, Cliff (29) and Grey(29) are his best friends since kingergarten. They do everything together. They are planning a two-week trip to camp at their favourite spot, a remote lake out in the bush lands of Saskatchewan. They plan on fishing, canoeing, swimming, fires, drinking, and generally just letting loose and having a good time. Derrick decides to see if you (24) want to come along, he has a geniune desire to hang out with his baby brother, seeing as you are both adults now. You guys never really hung out much in life and he wants to change that. Life was difficult as children and teenagers as your dad was emotionally unavailable and your mom drank too much. It wasn't until you moved in with him when you were 18 that you started to actually like each other. But even as brothers that were roommates, it was always a more casual relationship. A meal here and there together, or a movie or show for a couple hours, nothing else. He is surprised by your efficiency in getting a tent put up, starting a fire, and cooking at the lake. Cliff and Grey are equally as impressed. It ends up stirring something in them that none of them had anticipated. The build-up is slow. Small hidden glances here and there, sitting closer to you around the fire, making comments about how handsome you are. None of you realize what is happening, it just feels natural, playful, and relaxed. What could possibly happen between four men in a quiet, private campsite?
