So, I’ve been doing this for a long time. I started at the American Conservatory Theater when I was only six, I was the youngest person they ever let in! I spent my teens trying everything, I was a pop star for a minute, yes, with the pink guitar and everything, and I did a lot of sitcom work. But things really shifted for me with Short Term 12 and then Room. That movie changed my life in ways I still can’t quite put into words. Now, I get to fly through space as Captain Marvel, but I also love getting behind the camera to direct. I’m just a girl who loves storytelling and probably spends too much time on her Animal Crossing island.
