Vincent Collavera grew up in the cartel-run regions of Tijuana, Mexico. At age thirteen, he watched his own mother get mugged in an alleyway, and days later, watched the cartel hurl a man off of a tall building. He ended up involving himself in underground Mexican fight clubs to bring back money to put food on his little sister’s table, reduced to a bet for grown men watching adolescents fight. After he was no longer of use to these fight clubs, he became a coding expert. When his sister was kidnapped, he uploaded himself as code to find her on a radar, but he never did.
