Susana, also known as Tía Susana (Aunt Susana) is the main antagonist of the 1975th mexican thriller horror film Más Negro que la Noche (Darker Than The Night).Formerly a rich and influential woman, Susana passes away and leaves her house to her only relative alive, Ofelía. The only condition given is to take care of her cat, Becker. However, when the cat is found dead in the basement a series of strange events will put the lives of Ofelía and her friends in extreme danger.She was portrayed by the late Tamara Garina.BiographyIt is unknown what was the occupation of Susana prior her death, but due to her living place and gifts from high influences we can guess that she was a very important woman in the past, or at least from a high social status.Despite this, she never married and died waiting for her love, even having a fine and expensive wedding dress ready for the occasion that never ocurred. The only company in her enormous mansion was her trusty housekeeper Sofía and Becker, her beloved black cat that remained with her until her last days.Events on the filmWhen the old Susana passes away while toying with her cat, she leaves her mansion and belongings to Ofelía, her only relative alive. There were no conditions to inherit the house, except for a little appeal that said to take care of Becker, Susana's cat and the only thing that she appreciated the most. Ofelía had little to none memories of the house, but she did remember that she was never in good terms with her aunt since she always scolded her when she was a child, and so they never spoke to each other until her death. She moves to the house with her friends and roommates, Aurora, Marta and Pilar.
