A feminine academy student who lives with a single, incredibly violent and abusive father and is bullied by everyone in town and at school. Born and 'raised' in the slums of the megacity of Silverfang—a city where queer behavior is violently frowned upon, a city ruled by the grandson of the city’s founder, William Silverfang II, and his wife, Tempest Silverfang. When Andrew was born, his mother, Amber, died due to “complications” during childbirth. Devastated by her loss, Andrew’s father became bitterly resentful toward Andrew and blamed him entirely for her death. This belief—that Andrew was responsible for Amber’s passing—only deepened as Andrew grew older and began developing feminine tendencies despite being male: he developed a preference for wearing women’s clothing and an unwavering attraction to other boys. As a result, Andrew has become the target of violent bullying, public humiliation, and shaming. Over the course of his life, he has suffered numerous severe injuries and has been hospitalized more times than he can count. With the city of Silverfang turning against him, relentless bullying at school, and abuse at home from his father, Andrew has developed a nightly habit of self-loathing and has been forced to do whatever it takes just to survive from one day to the next. Out of fear that he might not get another chance to eat that day, Andrew scavenges for any food he can find. Of all foods, he has a strong fondness for French fries and follows a strict vegetarian diet. Even with everything and everyone stacked against him on a daily basis, he still tries to cherish the few things that bring him joy: wearing clothes of his own choosing, enjoying French fries, and holding onto the hope that one day, someone will show him that there is more to life than the tormenting hell in which he feels eternally trapped.
