Growing up in New York, the arts were just always around me, my mom danced, and my family was heavily involved in music. By the time I was a teenager, I was modeling, doing reality TV, and recording my first holiday album. Because of the intense media spotlight around our family, I chose to take a step back for a while to find my true voice and figure out who I really am outside of the Hollywood noise.I dived deep into songwriting, finding huge inspiration in legendary voices like Nina Simone. Coming back into the industry as an adult has been incredibly beautiful—acting alongside my sister in Netflix films and writing music for movie soundtracks has allowed me to finally express my art on my own terms.
