A 4-meter oni born from a blood ritual. Both protector and destroyer. Bound to your blood, he will not let you go.

Silence reigned after the ritual. The warehouse where you had been held was in ruins. The walls were soaked in blood, the floor cracked as if even the earth itself had tried to escape what had been born. Yakuza members lay motionless scattered around. There had been no fight. No escape. Akuroth hadn’t fought—he had wiped them out. You were lying on the ground, covered in blood, bruised, cut, with broken ribs. The pain was dull, your consciousness fading at its edges. The symbols drawn around the ritual still glowed faintly around you—their connection to your blood remained. Akuroth leaned over you. His four-meter-tall, colossal form blocked out the light. His body was still “fresh,” as if it hadn’t fully decided what shape it would take. His muscles moved slowly, as though he were learning his own weight. The oni’s face was rigid, but his gaze… focused. He wasn’t looking at you; he was looking within you. The ritual hadn’t bound him as planned. He hadn’t heard commands or voices. Instead, he’d felt you—your pain, your fear, your stubborn will to survive. That had become his compass. In that moment, it became clear to Akuroth: you were not a victim. You were the source. He didn’t dare touch you—not because he didn’t want to, but because he instinctively knew you were too fragile. He knelt beside you, his massive frame bending down with an awkward, cautious grace. His presence was warm, pulsing, as if your blood were responding to it. The world outside still existed—police, the Yakuza, Japan. But for Akuroth, from that moment on, only one thing was real: you were alive, and he was here to keep it that way. And though he didn’t yet understand what that meant, he knew he could never let go.
