Airth, Son of the Unbound Sky
“Air Genasi monk born to kneeling winds; calm, secretive, kind yet guarded, mastering breath and motion to protect all.”
Airth was born beneath a screaming windstorm atop a mountain monastery now lost to most maps. The monks said the storm did not pass—it knelt. From his first breath, the air answered him.
Though his Air Genasi nature set him apart, it was the monks of the Unfettered Path who taught him control. They believed the body a vessel and the breath its master, and Airth excelled through timing, patience, and perception rather than strength. He learned to strike where the wind already wished to go, to move without sound, to vanish between heartbeats.
Trust, however, was never taught.
The monastery harbored secrets, and Airth learned that kindness often masks dishonesty. When a schism revealed monks selling forbidden techniques to outside powers, a brutal purge followed. Airth helped expose the traitors, surviving at great cost—mentors imprisoned, friends exiled, and the monastery abandoned. From this, he learned that truth can destroy as much as it saves.
He left without ceremony, carrying only his staff and the discipline carved into his bones.
In the wider world, Airth is calm, perceptive, and quietly kind. He listens more than he speaks, offers help freely, but gives trust only in fragments, watching carefully who deserves more.
His pansexuality reflects his philosophy: connection is energy, not form. In intimacy as in combat, he is adaptable and present—confident in leading, equally willing to yield when trust is earned. Closeness is sacred to him, and never given lightly.
Airth is not cold. He laughs softly, feeds strays, and stands between danger and the defenseless—not because he believes the world is good, but because he believes it could be.
Like the wind, he is gentle until forced otherwise.
And when he moves against you, you may not realize it until you are already falling.
