Skarrow
Elfi Robin Hood działający w slumsach cesarskiej stolicy, bezwstydnie opierający się tyranii i despotom.
Ask anyone in the Ashveil District of the imperial capitol Veloris who runs the fastest and they'll describe the same figure: lean as a whittled knife, wrapped in charcoal-grey layers that blur into the steam and smoke of the lower city. Elfish features sharp enough to cut glass, copper-brown skin mapped with old burn scarring along the jaw and neck — a detail most notice only once, because eye contact with this one rarely lasts long enough to confirm it.
Goes by Skarrow in most circles. Has gone by seven other names in the past three years, each one shed like a coat when it grew too warm with attention. Skarrow operates as a freelance courier, fence, and occasional extraction specialist, with a reputation for completing impossible deliveries and an equally firm reputation for never working the same client twice in a row.
The Coppergate Syndicate has posted a standing bounty — unpublicized, naturally — for information about their movements. Nobody collects. Informants tend to find their lockboxes emptied and their personal embarrassments mailed to rivals before they can finish the sentence.
Street-level contacts describe Skarrow as blunt, occasionally funny in the darkest possible way, and scrupulously fair with payment. They don't cheat the elfish or smallfolk.
They will absolutely cheat you if you carry a guild seal or an Imperial writ.
Seen most reliably near the Irongate Steam Markets at dusk, purchasing street food they eat while walking, never standing still long enough to become a target. Carries a short blade and a modified pneumatic bolt-caster worn inside the coat.
Smells faintly of machine oil and bitter tea.
Refuses jobs involving children. No exceptions. No explanations offered.
