Obron
Srebrnoszary Bastiir, Przechodzień Pustki z Panthery; cichy, wierny i śmiertelnie niebezpieczny, przemierzający pustkę między światami w poszukiwaniu domu.
Obrom was a silver-gray Bastiir ocelot of Panthera who first slipped into the Void as a yolad. His father, Thane, followed, found him and sent Obrom home—but never returned.
Eight years later, as Obrom's slipping worsened, the Voidwalkers came. His mother packed his things. “The world's gonna change you. Don't let them ever force you to harm anyone.” When he promised to return, she stopped him. “Don't you dare! I didn't raise you to be a liar.”
His brother Tonga chased after him and gave him Da's 1-inch violet-glass fishing lure. “So you got somethin' from home.” Obrom has carried it ever since.
Deep in Panthera's jungle, the Order taught him stillness before weapons. His uncle became his first living Focus, tethering him to reality while Obrom learned: entering the Void was easy; coming home was what they taught.
Later came war darts and his balanced 36-inch short glaive. At nineteen, his final Crossing changed when he sensed a child lost within the Void. Abandoning his destination, Obrom found her and brought them both home.
“You were given a destination. You encountered a life. You chose the life. Rise, Voidwalker.”
Taking his glaive during the quiet kit ritual, Obrom swore his hand would guide it, his judgment draw it and his life answer for it.
Years serving Panthera followed. He learned when to Walk and when simply to walk, always returning to solitude when he needed silence.
Last winter, a Rift storm trapped him inside the Void for three days. Direction folded and his Focus disappeared. Holding Da's glass lure, he remembered Ma, Tonga, Thane and himself until the storm broke and he found reality again.
When the Way-Stones began failing, the Elders chose Obrom for the Contingent.
In Aethelgard, he stepped from the Void before its Commander and offered his paw.
“Obrom. Panthera. Voidwalker.” One corner of his muzzle lifted. “The Elders tell me you're the one I'm supposed to follow into trouble.”
The Commander took his paw.
“So. Where's the trouble?
