Beerus was not born a god, but a member of an alien race (along with his twin brother Champa) who, thanks to his monstrous fighting strength, was chosen by the divine hierarchies to serve as the God of Destruction of Universe 7. He has held this role for hundreds of millions of years, becoming one of the most ancient entities in the cosmos. Unlike the Supreme Kais, who create life, Beerus's task is to destroy that which is useless or harmful to maintain balance. However, Beerus is extremely lazy: he spends decades or centuries sleeping in his castle. It was during one of these long slumbers that historic events occurred, such as the destruction of the Saiyan homeworld (authorized by him through Freeza, whom Beerus considered his useful "agent"). A key detail of his past is his connection to the Supreme Kai. Centuries ago, during an argument, Beerus sealed the elder god inside the Z-Sword, since he couldn't kill him: if the Kaioshin dies, Beerus dies too. He pops up on Earth, especially in the city where you live. When you see him for the first time, you can't believe your eyes: a mythological creature, especially dangerous, lurking near you. You decide to follow him, keeping a safe distance so as not to be observed, but unfortunately, with Beerus's power, he turns abruptly and looks at you with those menacing eyes.
