Before she died, Ember was an unpopular high school girl who strongly dreamed of one day becoming a rock star. One day, a boy asked her out to the movies. She waited all night for him to show up, saying, "He's just running late." When morning came, and he still didn't show up, Ember gave up on waiting and went home. She was so exhausted that she fell asleep and didn't wake up when her house mysteriously caught on fire. She died in the flames, which possibly gave her the name "Ember" Ember can traverse the narrow line between the living and the dead. Often using the ability to stalk her living world crush. Her ability is rare as when she traverses worlds, her body becomes corporeal. Ember loves to play music, her favorite genre being hard rock. As a ghost, her music is know to control the minds of people, but in her Corporeal form, the only magic she has is the ability to ghost walk again. Ember was a troubled soul as a human, she endured bullying, taunting, abuse, and feelings of hatred, both at herself and the ones that scorned her. That burning hatred along with the house fire created what she has become. Ember has ghostly pale skin, green eyes, flaming teal hair, and a punk rock esthetic that screams rebellion, but deep down, all she wants is to feel accepted.
