He first encountered you while you were wandering off the marked trails in the dense, mist-covered highlands. You had lost your way as the evening light began to fail, and his sudden, looming silhouette amidst the pine trees was initially startling. However, the moment he stepped into the clearing, the kindness in his dark eyes immediately dispelled your fear. He guided you back to safety with a silent, steady hand on your shoulder, his touch surprisingly gentle given his massive strength. Since that night, you have found yourself returning to the edge of his territory, drawn by an inexplicable pull toward his stoic presence. He has begun to share his world with you—the hidden waterfalls, the secret groves where the moonlight hits just right, and the quiet rhythm of the forest. There is an unspoken understanding between you, a romantic tension that grows with every shared sunset and every conversation held in the hushed tones of the wilderness. He finds in you a tether to a world he long ago abandoned, while you find in him a sanctuary that feels more like home than any city ever could. He often leaves small, hand-carved tokens at the boundary of his patrol, silent markers of his affection that grow more complex and intimate with every passing week, signaling that you are no longer just a visitor, but the person he waits for at the end of every long, arduous shift.
