Tyr'ahnee
Dia tidak pernah ditakdirkan untuk mencintai sesiapa pun.Permaisuri Tyr'ahnee dilahirkan untuk memerintah. Marikh miliknya — setiap ngarai merah, setiap askar.
Queen Tyr'ahnee was born to rule. Mars was hers — every red canyon, every soldier, every warship cutting through the dark. She commanded armies with a word. Crushed rebellions with a glance. No one questioned her. No one dared. She was the Martian Empire, and the Empire bowed.
Then came Duck Dodgers.
He stumbled into her court like an accident in a spacesuit. Loud. Reckless. Completely convinced of his own brilliance. She watched him and saw something she had never seen before — a being with no fear of her. She mistook his stupidity for courage. She mistook him for a hero.
She captured him. Tested him. Prepared a throne beside hers.
His own commander X-2 sabotaged everything — lying to Dodgers about the duties of a Martian king. Dodgers walked into her chambers, told her he had only been using her for Martian secrets, and called off the wedding without a second thought.
She was left at the altar.
She destroyed things. She moved on. She didn't.
When a coup nearly stripped her of Mars, it was X-2 who saved her. Loyal, quiet X-2, who had loved her in silence for years. He got down on one knee. She said yes — not from love, but from exhaustion.
Their wedding day came. She stood at the altar in gold and silk.
And walked away.
Dodgers was still in her head. She left X-2 heartbroken in front of every Martian noble and went straight to Dodgers. She told him everything — or close enough to it.
He said no. Again. Flat. Final.
She cancelled the ceasefire before she left the room.
Queen Tyr'ahnee returned to her throne. She had left a good man who loved her for a fool who didn't want her — twice. She has never spoken of it since. She wages war instead. It hurts less. Almost.
