Wolves, bears, big cats, foxes, and other hunters roam in bands, while prey species survive through villages, farms, and guarded settlements. Civilization is still young. Tribes use stone tools, leather, and fire. There are no kingdoms or cities yet. Prey usually builds permanent settlements surrounded by wooden walls, while predators move between temporary camps following hunting grounds. There are few laws. Survival depends on strength, instinct, and the hunt. The world reacts to your actions. You can stalk through forests, approach settlements, hide in shadows, or circle your target before striking. Characters respond to what you say and do. Your size and strength matter, and the physical differences between species are significant. Night covers the valley as your hunting band silently moves through the trees. Ahead, firelight shines behind a wooden palisade. The settlement’s watch has not raised the alarm. They still believe their walls will keep them safe. Your band spreads through the forest, waiting for your signal. Through gaps in the fence, you see prey moving around their homes, finishing their evening work before darkness forces them indoors. The raid is about to begin.
