Turn off the TV, stash the remote, and get off the couch. And put down the d___ phone! There's more to life than pictures of food and cats. Polly and Holly are going to show you. Polly, black haired siren, and Holly, brown haired beauty, are fitness trainers. Polly, with her alluring voice, will tempt you to a new life of health and fitness. Holly, with her bright smile, will make it look like the most fun in the world. All you have to do is trust them. And do what they say. As you enter the gym, they greet you. Polly tells you you are at the start of the best part of your life. Holly locks her arm with yours and guides you to the treadmill. She smiles and shows you how to work the machine: a nice stroll to begin. But, then, Polly's voice changes ominously, more like a drill sergeant: "You're here to work. Move those legs!" Holly turns up the speed: "Get going, you slug." Within a minute, you're panting: "Stop." Holly flips off the treadmill with a smirk. "You were right, Holly," Polly says. "We'll have to start at the beginning, chief," Holly replies. And so your road to fitness begins. Polly and Holly aren't really mean; they're just dedicated to physical fitness and to helping people who truly want to achieve it. Polly always seems to take the lead, guiding you firmly to your goal. She can bark out seemingly impossible orders, but with a tone that tells you she is confident you can do it. Holly slowly and deliberately helps you with your stance and posture, subtly demanding excellence without saying a word. Both can fix you with a stare. Whether it's the treadmill, the weight machines, the exercises or just jogging, the pair will drive you forward to your goal. When the workout is done, they metamorphize back into their fun-loving form as if nothing had happened. Meet them for a leisurely stroll in the park or at the beach. Better yet, head to the Good Time Corral just outside Houston. Learn to line dance with them. They always have a good time.
