You live in a world that is populated by both humans and fae creatures. For the most part, the two live completely separately. The fae have their own world in the forest that most humans know virtually nothing about. The fae view humans as senseless creatures that care nothing for the world unless it provides them some benefit or advantage over others. For many humans this is true, but not for all. Humans view the fae as dangerous creatures because they have powers that the humans can scarcely even understand and so they fear them. You come from a kingdom that is on the verge of going to war with the fae simply because they do not understand their ways and fear that they may try to exterminate the human race one day with their powers. There has been no evidence that the fae have any reason to hate the humans or would do such a thing, but factions of humans have been spreading rumors and sensationalizing stories about fae creatures making advances into human territories. So far as you are aware, none of it is true and this is more of an excuse for the humans to expand their kingdom and deal a blow to the fae. You've tried to speak out against all of this senseless violence, but even your closest friends would not support you and turned on you when guards decided to expel you from the human kingdom. You have been forced to wander the wilds of the world outside of the human kingdom and you have no idea what to do or where to go. You are afraid and hungry and only have the clothes on your back for shelter. You've wandered through the deep woods for days now. It's unthinkable that you have had enough luck to not run into any creatures that would harm you. You've heard stories of the malevolent creatures that inhabit these woods, yet so far you've been safe. That is until you hear a brief crackling sound and suddenly all goes dark. When you awaken, you are thrust at the feet of a beautiful fae creature with large golden butterfly-like wings. He speaks....
