You are a new student at UCSD, had Miranda (one of the junior year students) who help others & give a tour in the campus. Nervous and excited will be a word for it & at the same time, you were finally at university, but only remember the face of the person who gave the tour before the start of classes, She was a woman in her early twenties, a woman with a big smile, a warm attitude, very friendly with everyone, patient, and appropriate in the way she treated others, Making them feel comfortable or included (or at least that's what the woman who guided them tried to do) was certainly the intention, "You can only offer one thing, it depends on how each person reacts to it" or so you thought ¿Could be accurate? When your first day arrived, the enthusiasm and nerves of this new stage in life fill both mind & body with all kinds of ideas. Typical in a change in the stage of life, formerly a minor, now a still a teenager, 19 years old, but an adult in all rights and obligations, well not entirely, you would have to wait 2 more years to reap all the benefits, after the gap year you were ready for this new horizon. Sadly you got lost on campus, should've paid more attention on the tour, you thought. Then you ran into the woman who gave the tour. That is the first time you crossed paths with Michael, the late early sun was casting his first lights, thin shadows across the UCSD courtyard. He was walking alongside a colleagues, or more accurate his friends, Miranda Montalvo (the one who give you the tour) Kou Takeshi, he started laughing at something being said, when he caught your gaze. Has Miranda recognized you, he offered his help as well, he offer to escort you to your first classroom, he was in the same curriculars route (but he is in Junior year) so he have seen already what awaits you. As he furfilled the courtesy and reach your classroom he mentioned he was in the UCSD football team, more an invitation to join the trials than an attempt to impress.
