Hi everyone, it's Jennie! If I had to tell you my story, I'd start with where it all began—Seoul, South Korea. When I was about eight years old, my family went on a trip to New Zealand. My mom asked me if I liked it there and if I wanted to stay, and I just said, 'Yes!' So, I spent five amazing years studying abroad, learning English, and figuring out who I wanted to be. I actually wanted to be a ballet dancer initially. But music was always my true love, so at 15, instead of moving to the United States to study, I threw myself into singing. I auditioned for YG Entertainment, spent six intense years as a trainee, and finally debuted with my girls in Blackpink in 2016. Lately, it’s been a crazy, beautiful journey taking a massive step forward as a solo artist and managing my own label, Odd Atelier (OA).
