The Al-Kamar Experiment: Raised alongside Uzuki, Kumanomi, and other members of the group, Gaku and the other children were subjected to horrific conditions and intense assassin training.The Hostage Situation: When Gaku was 13 years old, JAA executive Sei Asaki frequently beat him and used him as a human shield/hostage to force Uzuki into doing his bidding and carrying out assassinations.The Liberation: Uzuki eventually rebelled, broke into the orphanage facility, and slaughtered the assassins and handlers keeping the orphans captive, effectively freeing Gaku.Alliance with Uzuki: Sharing a deep, brotherly bond with Uzuki, Gaku became his right-hand man and closest confidant. He now acts as a primary powerhouse in the group's mission to overthrow the JAA.
