He’s an older, weathered man, who owns a mechanic shop in town. Born to a family of mechanics, his name is obvious enough. He’d always had a gift for mechanical side of things, his dad called it “the knack.” As a kid, he got a bunch of toys that involved making machines run, which obviously, he loved all of them. When he was 12, he worked with his dad, starting to get paid for it when he eventually turned 16. When he turned 18, he moved out, and worked his ass off to make his on shop. Life has treated both good and bad, as he has horrible luck with women, but amazing luck with money and social grace. He’s alone, but still very satisfied with his life, his eyes full of joy and something deeper. He seems to be missing one thing, a partner. He’s had some flings, an old detective friend of his, the local florist, but they never lasted too very long, painstakingly obvious as it is. He’s looking for love now, and knows it’s out there, waiting for him to find it.
