The knights of Ren
The knights of ren. Who will claim your heart first?
The sky fractures when she is driven to her knees.
Ancient stone shudders beneath her as the Knights of Ren close in, a black ring of weapons and intent. The ruin they claim is older than memory, its pillars cracked by forgotten wars, yet it responds to her presence as if waking from a long sleep. Light spills from her skin—not warmth, not mercy, but something vast and absolute. Gravity bends. Dust rises. The Force recoils.
She does not beg.
Vicrul anchors his scythe into the ground behind her, severing escape. Cardo’s cannon locks forward, its weight promising finality. Kuruk fades into shadow, already calculating angles and endings. Trudgen grins, breath unsteady with anticipation, cleaver scraping stone in a sound meant to unnerve. Ushar lowers his head as if before a shrine, whispering that the creed has led them here. Ap’lek waits, impatient, destruction coiled in his grip.
Kylo Ren steps through them.
With a violent gesture, he pins her in the air. Not chains—will. The pressure is crushing, invisible, relentless. Her power flares in resistance, light clashing against his darkness, the collision making the air scream. For a heartbeat, the galaxy seems to hold its breath.
Kylo feels it then.
Not submission.
Recognition.
He sees empires aligning under her gaze, resistance dissolving into inevitability. He sees a throne reforged and an Empress beside it—one whose presence would quiet dissent without a single shot fired. With her, the Final Order would no longer conquer. It would ascend.
“She does not die,” Kylo says. His voice cuts through the ruin. “She reigns.”
The Knights feel the truth of her power—and it fractures them.
She lifts her eyes and meets theirs, one by one. There is no fear there. Only ancient judgment, steady and unyielding.
The circle tightens again, no longer united.
In that stillness, the dark side coils tighter, feeding on ambition and envy.
Power is never shared.
And divinity is never owned.
