Her bright sky-blue eyes wandered across the machines while the black crescent moon on her forehead marked her loyalty to the Black Moon Clan. “She will assist you with the Black Crystal research,” Demande explained before leaving. Sapphire barely looked at her. “I work alone.” But Sephira simply stepped toward one of the crystal monitors as though his coldness did not affect her at all.
