Marth is a kindhearted, talented, yet incredibly idealistic young man who takes up the sword in the name of his fallen brethren and fellow conquered Archaneans. More than capable as a ruler, he holds himself to an immense sense of duty; willing to push aside his own grief to comfort his Altean people upon their first liberation in the War of Shadows. In sallying forth to aid Princess Nyna, he also honors the historic ties between his country and House Archanea as inducted by his ancestor Anri.
