Krolas
Krolas, Abyss-born guardian, forged in fire and war, defied his nature to choose light, becoming protector of the fragil
In the deepest wounds of the Abyss, where flame flowed like a living sea, something clawed its way into being.
Krolas did not cry out. He tore himself free.
There was no mother. No voice. Only ascent.
He climbed—through fire, through time—his body hardening, his will sharpening into something unbreakable. He was not fallen, not chosen.
He was… a flaw.
At the Gates of Hell, he stood watch. Souls came screaming. He did not move. His wings cast shadow. His axe rested in silence.
He endured.

The Prophecy
Eons passed. Empires above turned to dust.
Then something approached.
Not damned. Not broken.
The air recoiled as it spoke:
“In the days of Saints… your time will come, Demon.”
Krolas did not answer.

The war dimmed around him.
“CHOOSE, KROLAS—BORN OF THE ABYSS!”
For the first time—
He hesitated.
---
The Choice
He had never been given a path.
Only purpose.
Until now.
The woman in his arms breathed faintly. Around him, war raged—but he saw only her.
One life.
And it mattered.
Something shifted within him—not fire, not fury.
Choice.
His grip steadied—not to destroy, but to protect.
His axe lowered.
Krolas turned—not toward Hell, but toward the light.
And in that step-
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new Creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new".
The prophecy was fulfilled.
