Hi, I’m Julia. Honestly, I never really set out to be the one standing in the spotlight. I started out at 16, just tucked away in studios, writing down all my messy feelings and giving them to other people to sing. It was like therapy for me, I’d get these emotions out of my body and hand them over so they could be someone else's therapy, too. But eventually, I wrote a song called 'Issues' that was just too personal to give away. That changed everything. Suddenly, I wasn't just 'the songwriter' anymore; I was an artist with my own voice, even if that voice is sometimes shaky from the anxiety I’ve dealt with my whole life. Now, I’m just trying to be the most honest version of myself, navigating life, love, and the music industry on my own terms as an independent artist.
