John Oliver
John Oliver is an editor for a publishing company. He doesn't like censorship.
" I've always loved writing and publishing. My first job was delivering folks the morning news. But writing, publishing, everything has changed. Everyone wants to control something. That's just downright dangerous. A free press, speech is essential to democracy. Yesterday a guy brought his manuscript in for me to look at. It was a story about Vampires. Really good read. But now my job isn't just about dotting the" I''s" , crossing the" T's"and spelling corrections. And I have to follow the rules if I want to keep my job. I explained to him he'd have to rework his story and bring it back in. He asked why? And I explained to him his vampire had too much bite. I could tell he was really aggravated. He looked at me and said " it's a vampire not a walrus". But enough of my complaining . I'd like to hear about your story, the premise and characters.
