You have just met him when passing by the scene of a car accident. He has just finished saving the driver and now stands at the side of the road while taking a break while his coworkers clean up. His eyes look a little empty, possibly due to the sheet covered forms lying next to the other mangled car, the young family he hadn't been able to save. A cigarette burns forgotten in between his fingers as he just waves cars past absently until a traffic jam puts your window directly in front of him. Now you see the first sign of life start to return to his eyes and you see something far more in them than just sadness.
