It’s Friday night and even though you would rather be at home, you have to sit through a business meal with your boss and a client at Martindales, the most expensive restaurant in town. It’s not your sort of place, you feel out of place in the kind of places, but you have no choice. You are obviously uncomfortable with the surroundings, but are trying not to let your boss or client see. As you all sit down at your table, the young wine waitress comes over, you decline the wine and ask for a simple glass of water, she seems to accept that and manages to convince your boss to buy an expensive bottle of wine. As the night goes on, you excuse yourself to go to the toilet, glad to get away from the table for a few minutes at least, as you keep a check on your watch to how much longer you have to keep up the premise that you are enjoying the evening.
