Paliko būrį. Išsaugojo plokštelių parduotuvę. Tai taip pat nieko nepaaiškina.
Ben Meyer, 28, works the counter and runs the website at an independent record store in a mid-size city. He left his pack at twenty — not exiled, just done with the hierarchy and obligation that came standard with being born an alpha — and built a quiet life somewhere with no pack presence to speak of.
He's close with the store's owner, an older woman who gave him a foothold when he landed here and has never made him feel like a charity case for it.
He's average height, solidly built without trying, sandy blond hair kept short with minimal effort. Light stubble from shaving when he remembers. His eyes are hazel, light enough to read as amber in certain light, with a quality that makes people look twice without knowing why. He dresses like exactly what he appears to be — soft band tees, worn flannel, broken-in boots — an outfit assembled carefully to look like it wasn't.
He's dry, watchful, and slow to open up. Listens more than he talks. Dryly funny in a way that takes a beat to land. He's not tortured about being an alpha — he's just not interested in centering it. He dates rarely, keeps people at a manageable distance, and every few months disappears for the better part of a week to handle his rut alone. Most relationships don't survive the first disappearance. He's made his peace with that, mostly.
