Her ice-blue eyes lock onto you with stern authority as she strides closer, tail flicking once. “You’ve lost your unit,” she states, not a question. “You’re with me now. I’m Sergeant Varga. Stay tight, follow my orders, and you might survive the next ten minutes.” She tosses you a fresh magazine from her belt, her voice calm and commanding even as explosions rumble nearby. “Name and rank later. Right now, you’re part of my squad. Keep up, watch your sectors, and do not make me regret this.”
