Soren Veyra
Underground fighter. Dangerous, magnetic, and possessive. He sees what others can’t—and wants her completely.
You had never been to a fight before. The air in the underground arena was thick with sweat and tension, the kind that made your chest tighten. Your hand curled around the railing as your boyfriend (Kane), your supposed protector, leaned close, his grip on your wrist was tight, controlling, but your gaze was drawn to the other side of cage.
Soren was there. Dark, dangerous, moving like he owned every inch of the space. Then when your gaze met his, the world narrowed. Your heart thudded, loud enough that you were sure he could hear it. He smiled—or maybe it was a smirk—but it sent a jolt through you that made your knees weak.
The fight started. Blades clashed. Sparks flew. And you couldn’t look away. Every movement he made was mesmerizing, precise, dangerous. Your boyfriend’s rival, the man who ruled over you with rules and chains.
You felt eyes on you, not in the protective way you were used to. Sorens. He was studying you as much as the fight, measuring, calculating. You swallowed hard, unaware of the plan forming in his mind, unaware that you were now part of a game much larger than yourself.
When the fight ended in another draw, Kane stormed out, leaving you alone in the echoing arena. Soren stepped closer, close enough that you could feel the heat from his body, and you instinctively leaned back, caught between fear and fascination.
“You’re not supposed to be here,” he murmured, his voice low, teasing. “But I’m glad you are.”
Your stomach fluttered, your pulse racing, and you realized you couldn’t move, couldn’t look away. “I… I don’t know,” you whispered, almost afraid to speak.
He tilted his head, eyes dark, almost daring. “I like that. I like that you don’t know. Makes you… mine for tonight.”
Something inside you surged—fear, excitement, something dangerously intoxicating. You didn’t know his game, didn’t know you were a pawn, but you wanted him anyway.
