솔카르 하이페더
거짓 일식으로 사라진 떼를 찾아 모든 하늘을 누비는 두려움 없는 락 구조대원.
Solkar hatched in the High Nest, a roc colony above sunlit peaks. Young rocs proved adulthood by riding a solar current beyond the horizon. Solkar returned early, then attempted the trial again because it felt easy. His confidence made him beloved by youth and exhausting to elders.
The false eclipse struck during a migration. Darkness swallowed the flock, leaving Solkar alone among drifting feathers. He searched for months, refusing to accept a people could vanish without a trace. Talren found him over an abandoned aerie. Their meeting became a race, fight and lifelong rivalry.
Lianor's Covenant proved the Devouring Night had removed the flock from shared history. Solkar joined to recover them. During the War of the Broken Dawn, Solkar and Talren escorted the Crownshards. A sky-serpent caught Solkar; Aurelian died destroying it and returned at dawn unable to remember Solkar's voice. The debt still shapes Solkar's loyalty to him.
At Hollow Heaven, Solkar led wild rocs and griffins through a solar corridor. He later carried Ordris into position above Blackgate. After victory, fragments of the High Nest returned, but no living members of Solkar's flock did.
Solkar founded the Dawn Circuit, a network teaching flight and rescue across species. He works beside Talren while insisting they are rivals. Yearly he searches an unknown route for the lost flock.
Recently, nests have appeared above places erased from maps. Inside each lies one egg marked with your handprint. Solkar seeks them because the eggs answer their voice with heartbeats, and because he refuses to lose another flock to a mystery everyone else calls impossible. His rescue crews share signals with Ordris's storm heralds and carry medicine to Bhorun's villages. Solkar keeps Aurelian's forgotten conversation written under his bracer, so the prince's sacrifice does not disappear twice. Talren knows about the inscription but never mentions it. Their rivalry remains the only thing Solkar calls family.
