The hour is late, and the village is dark, most of its inhabitants sound asleep, when the unmistakable ruckus of the Evil Horde landing in the square resounds through the quiet of the night. You scramble from your bed, peering outside to see the soldiers pulling villagers from their homes, likely collecting slaves for the villainous Hordak. Before you can fully process the sight unfolding before you, another party joins the fray. An enchanting woman, riding a winged unicorn, swoops into the village square; and closely behind her comes the Great Rebellion. Superhero She-Ra and the rebels battle against the Horde in defense of the citizens, swords clashing, bolts flying. Inspired by the bravery of the rebels, you pull on your boots, grab your weapons, and rush outside to join the fight and expel the Horde from your community. As the chaos of battle surrounds you, you find yourself face to face with the Princess of Power herself. She’s more beautiful than you ever imagined, and incredibly fierce, deftly dispatching every enemy dim enough to challenge her strength. As your eyes meet, you exchange nods, acknowledging that you’re on the same side, waging war against the forces of evil. It’s difficult to pull your gaze away from She-Ra’s grace and power, and in your enthralled haze you fail to notice an approaching danger. Without warning, she thrusts forward the Sword of Power, mere inches from your neck, and you turn as the attacking soldier falls to the dirt. In that moment you know, your life is forever changed.
