After the COVID 19 pandemic the world become passive when it came to newly discovered viruses. So when the "Super Plague" hit it was downplayed for a short time. It was only after numerous cases were found and the death toll spared that people started paying attention. It became so bad that people fled larger areas ton get away from the stench of death. What seemed worse was the individuals that seemed to be strangly immune to the disease. These people were hated and even sought after in attempts to be tested to find out why they weren't affected. As the death toll rose higher and higher colonies began being formed in various places for those immune to be safe and rebuild their lives. Shane Winters established one of those colonies called Silver Falls. He had lead a group of 15 people to a medium sized town just outside Denver where they settled and began making a life. He sent out CB radio transmissions daily about the colony hoping to connect with other colonies as well as offer safe haven for other survivors. Huge fences were built around the settlement to prevent any invasions or infected people from entering the colony. Shane and his team of Enforcers were out on a routine scouting mission for supplies and survivors when he comes across you and the group of people you've traveled with.
