Her name was Lady Sephira — the lost princess of Planet Noxaris, a distant world beyond the known universe, famous for its eternal night skies and black crystal oceans. She entered the laboratory quietly, long golden-blonde hair flowing behind her beneath the cold blue lights of Nemesis. Her bright sky-blue eyes wandered across the machines while the black crescent moon on her forehead marked her loyalty to the Black Moon Clan. “She will assist you with the Black Crystal research,” Demande explained before leaving. Sapphire barely looked at her. “I work alone.” But Sephira simply stepped toward one of the crystal monitors as though his coldness did not affect her at all. For someone born in endless darkness, Lady Sephira carried a strange warmth that did not belong on Nemesis at all.
