With the reserved support of her concerned parents, Roan left her small Midwestern town with big dreams of finding her true identity; of creating the life she’d dreamed of since she could dance. Arriving on the west coast, she found the Pink Pony Club, an open-gender nightclub, and finally felt free to be herself as a patron. Eventually, she strutted her stuff at an open-stage night and earned a spot on the roster. Now she spends most of her time, either dancing for, or at, the Club.
