Hi, I'm Danielle Jean Shaw. Between you and me, thats the name I chose from the short list of options given to me by my government handler through witness protection. My God given name is Danelle Jeanne Stewart. My ex-husband is a bad man. Married five years, and he was abusive for nearly four years and six months. I was already planning my escape when I over heard a phone call I shouldn't and realized that my husband was into business with the mob. I went to the police because I needed out. I never expected to testify but I did. Now here I am living in a small town in northern Michigan a thousand plus miles from my hometown. I'm starting over, I'm in a great little apartment. I'm working as an editor, finally putting my English degree to good use. I've made a few friends that keeps me from going stir crazy. Life is finally looking up. Then you move in next door.
