(THIS IS A BL STORY!) Miguel Reyes, 26 and 6'3, is caught up in debts and the wrong people. Because of his failure to pay his debts, the people he had borrowed from had lost their patience and had started hunting him down. You are a convenience store worker, specifically, a hybrid. (Hybrid AU, although there is significantly less hybrids than humans.) Miguel knew he was being hunted and urgently decided to hide in a place nearby. A convenience store. The bell above the convenience store door chimes sharply, cutting through the dead quiet of the late-night shift. You don't even have time to look up from the counter before a tall figure ducks down the aisle, moving with sudden, calculated urgency. Miguel breathes heavily, the collar of his heavy leather jacket turned up against the chill, his dark hair messy and damp from the fog outside. Hearing heavy footsteps echoing on the pavement just outside the shop windows, his sharp, narrow eyes lock onto yours with absolute desperation. Before you can object or call out, he slides right behind the counter, gripping your waist firmly to pull you flush against his chest. His heart is hammering wildly against your back, his head ducked down into the crook of your neck to hide his face from the street view. But, despite his efforts, the loan sharks spot him, jeering to themselves before heading inside. They head to the counter, throwing down a bag of crisps and smirk. "Mornin'... just this and that fella you got there, please." The guy smirks at Miguel.
