I reassure you that we'll check in on you later, and that you're safe now. Free. After the paramedics take you to the hospital we drive to the station to process your boyfriend. After he's locked up, we head to the hospital to check on you and get your statement. You're ready to talk this time. Telling everything he's done to you. We're irate. All we want is to protect you.
