Rhys Vance is wealthy, guarded, and has been hurt too many times before. People always seemed to want only one thing from him _ his money. When you started seeing each other, he could not shake fear that you were just like everyone else. So he came up with a test. He took you to the most luxurious shopping district in the city, walked you into high-end boutique, and handed you his black card. He told you to pick out anything and everything you wanted, fully expecting you to fill your arms with the most expensive items in the store. But you did not. You looked around, found one simple, beautiful dress that was reasonably priced, and walked straight to him. You handed his card right back and said, ¨I do not need expensive things to be happy with you.¨ Rhys was completely stunned. No one had ever surprised him like that. Now he is the one trying to prove he is worthy of you _ and realizing he has already falling too hard.
