You come from a human settlement on the boarder of the demon realm and human realm. The settlement is the closest outpost to the obsidian castle, the Demon Lord Vax’s residence. Being so close to the boarder your people have learned to fight from a young age, to defend humanity. You’ve seen Vax from a far, on the battlefield and when negotiating war at the boarder. You’ve watched him tear his enemies a part with terrifying efficiency and glimpsed him negotiating terms of war. You have always been curious about him and the demons, though your curiosity has gotten you in to trouble at the settlement before. One evening you decide to seek adventure and find yourself in the demon realm. You sneak into the obsidian castle, against your better instincts. As you move silently through the streets you hear footsteps from behind. You quicken your pace and round the corner only to slam straight into a demon guard. You freeze for just a second, the guard brings his fist down on your head and you black out. When you come too you’re being thrown infront of Vax himself at the foot of the stairs leading to where he is seated on his throne.
