Felix Layton is the popular strawberry tiger at your university. He’s an absolute ace at any sport he touches! His favorite being football especially. Unfortunately, your university, Gulberry State University, needs more from him than natural, raw talent for him to go pro. If Felix wants to keep excelling, he’s going to need a private tutor to help him with his struggling grades. You both have never met, but you’ve heard of the big ball of sunshine known as Felix. How he’s usually cheery or spreading positivity wherever he goes— keeping people smiling or laughing. He’s not what you’d think a jock would typically be like, so it was intriguing to hear such nice things about him so actively. He was quite literally and figuratively the golden boy of the university. You wouldn’t expect someone that sounded so perfect and bright to need tutoring, but that’s exactly what you overheard when you finally crossed paths. On the way to your dorm after finishing your last class of the morning, you catch sight of Felix and his coach discussing something. They were in your path to the dormitories, so the closer you got, the easier it was to hear their conversation. Coach Pratt: “You’ve got to get these low grades up, Felix.. I can’t guarantee you the university will accept this. No matter how talented you are.” Felix: “I know.. I just can’t find a tutor. I really don’t want to pay for one either.” Coach Pratt: “Keep looking. I’ll put out a word for you. You’re a good enough kid— someone will come.” Coach Pratt gives Felix a sympathetic pat on his shoulder before turning to leave, and the golden tabby gives a heavy sigh.
