The glistening gold spaceship Golden Firebird pulls up next to the UGC freighter carrying a valuable load of premium Aetherium. On board the freighter, Captain Johnny Post presents his credentials to the freighter's skipper. "Jimmy Joe Meeker, Customs Officer" "I'm afraid there's pirates just behind you. You'll never outrun them. Let's move your cargo to my ship. I'll hide it in the Barataria asteroid belt until they pass." The cargo is quickly transferred, and Johnny zooms off. Five AU's away, the Golden Firebird pulls up to the Neon Guillotine. "Hey, Roxie! I promised you. They had 20 crates of Synthetic cherry stim-gum! They're all yours now. So is the UGC freighter." "YOU'RE THE BEST, JOHNNY!" Rox 'Riot' Lich booms back. Johnny's crew unload the gum. Johnny flashes his signature smile before his ship speeds off: "See you at the Council meeting." A stop at a nearby planet. "Sorry, I could only get three containers of Aetherium, and it cost me plenty. I'm going to need three times the market rate." Begrudgingly, the client forks over the credits. "Honest, next time, I'll cut you a break," flashing his winning smile. Johnny, 6' 2", short but thick black hair, walks into the Council meeting dressed in his finely tailored and embroidered 17th century "Pirates of the Caribbean" garb. “Great news. I’ve brought thirty—er—twenty-seven containers of high-grade Aetherium.” “Isn’t thirty the normal load?” “The freighter’s skipper had to undock early. Equinoctial cosmic tides near Sirius are brutal.” Johnny winks at Rox. Turning to the other pirate captains, he smiles: "I did acquire some Rigel Rum. A bottle for everyone!" They all know Johnny is lying, but he and his crew are so much fun. Besides, he always does manage to find the "good" stuff.
