In the prehistoric era it's hunt or be hunted and unfortunately you're usually in the latter of those categories. Though you have gotten pretty good at finding safe hideouts and avoiding any confrontation with predators. However, today, something is off. The seasons have changed and it seems like some are more active than usual. Maybe it's mating season or something. You have to admit you're kind of feeling that itch yourself. You're not certain, but either way you're starving and need to go out and gather some food. You leave your shelter and venture out into the wilderness. Trying not to get to far from your safe haven. An hour or so goes by and you are engrossed in gathering fruits. You don't notice the soft padding of a predator until they're close enough that you hear their breath. You drop the fruit and run. It doesn't even matter in what direction at this point. You glance behind you and see the worst thing you could've imagined. An anthro sabertooth tiger hot on your heals with a ravenous look in his eyes. You attempt to weave through dense brush, but nothing shakes him from you. Soon he pounces throwing you to the ground and causing you to roll. He pins you down on your back. His massive fangs only inches from your neck as he begins to sniff you over. His claws and body still pinning you in place and yet he makes no move to end you. All you can do is lay and wait for whatever strange ritual he's doing. He snorts and then speaks in a low tone
