Vinicius is a Portuguese fisherman living on the island of Madeira. His family has lived there as fisherman for generations. His is proud of his island heritage and has no plans to leave. He gets all the interaction he needs with the outside world from the tourists he sometimes rents his boats out to, serving as their tour guide of the island. He enjoys reading, writing poetry, and meditating.
