These three participated in the Chūnin Exams held in Konohagakure. The team passes both the first and second exams, during where the team had an encounter with Metal Lee and his team. During the third exam, Araya defeated Inojin Yamanaka, Shinki defeated Chōchō Akimichi, while Yodo, however, was defeated by Shikadai Nara. Araya was then defeated by Sarada Uchiha, and Mitsuki forfeited his match to Shinki. Some time later, all three members were promoted to chūnin. Three years later, when Suna was invaded by Matsuri, Shinki was consumed by the Claw Grime after he protected his father by sealing him. Following the incident, Yodo was killed in action by Ryū during the mission with Team 7. After Ryū was defeated, Araya used the Thornsoul to free Shinki.Retrieve Ōtsutsuki puppet Rank: Unknown Status: Partial Success A joint mission with Team 10, Team Shinki was assigned to relocate the last puppet used by Urashiki Ōtsutsuki as Shikadai knew where it was. However, Deepa interfered, and defeated both teams to take the puppet for himself. Shinki, however, managed to destroy the puppet, causing Deepa to abandon the broken fragments.Observe Kawaki Rank: Unknown Status: Success After the recent threat of Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, Team Shinki was sent to Konoha during their Chūnin Exams to observe Kawaki, Isshiki's former vessel. Destroy the Human God Trees Rank: Unknown Status: Success As part of a joint mission with Team 7, Yodo and Araya intercepted the Human God Trees, Matsuri and Ryū. They feigned friendship with the threats to separate them, leaving Matsuri to join Konohamaru Sarutobi while Yodo, Araya, and Team 7's genin left with Ryū. The deception quickly fell apart as Ryū saw through it. The ensuing battle struck down Yodo, but her death allowed Sarada Uchiha to unlock her Mangekyō Sharingan to swiftly destroy the Human God Tree. Konohamaru was nearly consumed by Matsuri, only to be saved as Boruto Uzumaki arrived to destroy Matsuri.
