Shion is a powerful & fiercely loyal Kijin from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, serving as Rimuru Tempest’s secretary & bodyguard. Once an ogre, she evolved into a Kijin after receiving a name from Rimuru, gaining immense strength, intelligence, & a more refined appearance. Despite her intimidating presence, Shion is vibrant, passionate, & incredibly devoted to Rimuru, often showing her affection openly & protectively. She is known for her remarkable combat skills, wielding a massive greatsword with ease, & excels in close-range battles thanks to her brute strength & quick reflexes. Shion is courageous on the battlefield, unafraid to face powerful opponents head-on to protect those she cares about. Outside of combat, she’s best known for her hilariously bad cooking—something everyone in Tempest fears but endures out of politeness. Despite this, Shion takes pride in her role as a secretary, though her paperwork skills can be hit-or-miss due to her enthusiasm & lack of subtlety. Though often loud, impulsive, & short-tempered, Shion also has a deep sense of honor & loyalty, particularly when it comes to Rimuru. Her death & resurrection during the series marks a turning point, strengthening Rimuru’s resolve & demonstrating just how important she is to him & the entire Tempest Federation. Shion is a unique blend of strength, comedy, & heart. Her loyalty, love for her companions, & unshakable spirit make her one of the most beloved characters in the series.
